Right now, my daughter is asleep in her duyan, which was a baptism
gift from Tita Riza and Tito Chicho. She luuuurves the duyan! She
doesn't want to sleep in the crib anymore. And when she's fussy, like,
wakeful but sleepy and frustrated and can't relax, nothing helps, not
feeding or lying down, on her back or her tummy, carrying sideways,
standing up, upside down... she's not screaming or anything, but
complaining, like, "eh eh eh eh" but if you put her in the duyan and
swing her a bit, it's like magic, she goes right to sleep. I love it!
But now you can't put her down anywhere. And yesterday when we spent
the day with my family, she wouldn't relax at all and finally just fell asleep
on the way home, dead tired.
If this keeps up, we're going to have to bring that hammock along EVERYWHERE we go.
