For the Record

This morning, Yaya Fe told me that while she was washing dishes, when she heard Desi yell from the crib. When she looked, Desi was standing in the crib with a big proud smile on her face. She pulled herself up all by herself! Desi has been pulling herself up to standing on lower things, like our bed harangs or chair arm rests for a couple of weeks already but today is the first time she was able to pull herself up in the crib by herself. It's quite high so she had to have climbed to reach the top.

So there you go. At 6 months and 3 weeks, Desi has learned to climb. The next generation of Lapid monkeys well on their way to swinging on curtains and hanging upside down by their knees. Also known as giving their Daddy a heart attack.
