It's not supposed to happen for another

Look at the pretty little earrings on my pretty little baby's pretty little ears! Oh my cutie little dalaga! Dr. Tito Jojo pierced her ears in St. Ignatius last Sunday (Sept 21). As with Lia, Tito Jojo gifted us the piercing and the earrings. But everything else was nothing like when Lia's ears were pierced. There was no crowd of titos, titas, lolos and lolas, no fanfare, no fear reverberating in the room, no cameras documenting the event.
After dinner, Tito Jojo, Desi and I went to Nana and Nanu's room while everyone else continued on with tea and dessert in the dining room. Desi sat on my lap calmly but squirmed everytime Tito Jojo tried to draw a little dot on her earlobe (for better aim). She was ok until the first tgsh! of the piercing gun and then a second of silent shock, and then the loudest cry Desi had ever cried since being born. Seriously. She was so red and mad and confused and awful that Tito Jojo said we should do the other earring next week. Hahaha!. Anyhoo, somehow we got both ears pierced and then I nursed her and then she calmed down, and then we showed her ears off to everybody. Daddy was with Lia so he didn't have to go out and have a smoke, seeing his baby in such distress. Soon after, we drove home and Desi fell asleep on the way.
Welcome to the big girl's club, sweetheart! Your lolas are ready with a lifetime of earrings for you. :)
